Origin: The single surviving kitten of a litter born to a stray we were feeding. Hialeah, FL.

The Name: I was holding her in ONE of my hands, looked down at her, and just said "Sophia". Marie and Peña are both as tribute to my grandma. Is it weird that I named my cat after a loved one? Sure. Whatever.

Fun Fact: She's the one who actually hangs around when I'm not feeling so hot. She also LOVES her dog.

Nicknames: Sophie, Soph, So, Sophias, Sophia Vergata, Sophers, Chicky Nugg, Chittleberry

DOB: 6/1/06

## Sophia doesn't quite have a breed breakdown

### She's a domestic shorthair. You know, your standard cat.

Technically, she's a dilute calico (grey and more muted tones than your standard calico).

Other fun facts about her:

- Her face and body is split- one side is more orange, one side is more grey
- She has the cutest freckle on her nose
- Her toe beans are the sweetest
- She hates being woken up
- Her belly is exposed with relative frequency. It's always a trap.
